As you are probably aware I am best known for my photography career. But, as with many artists, I work in several different mediums. For many years, I have considered my work in other areas as a hobby, although in 2006 I was convinced by a student of mine to have an exhibition of my paintings and had such a favorable response that I have continued to show them periodically.

Anyway, I have decided to present my work in other mediums here. I think it is good for students to see that though they may be extremely passionate about one particular medium (as I am with photography) that as an artist it is good to continue working with any medium you enjoy if for no other reason than personal pleasure. Not everything we create is always in the pursuit of "high art" but that doesn't mean it isn't a worthwhile practice. Working in other mediums can often strengthen your work in your primary one.
