This is a series of portraits that use depth of field variations. The series was begun in 2006 and remains ongoing. The person's portrait is taken twice, once with maximum depth of field and once with the minimum. I then substitute one strip from each set so that there is a visual shift in the depth of field in one strip of film in the image. All series depicted on this site have a minimum of 30 images most series have over 100 images.
